The Lodge is a new addition to the Cissbury Estate, currently being thoughtfully restored and redesigned to offer a light-filled, relaxed place to stay for weddings and weekends alike. Set within the grounds and looking out towards Cissbury Ring, it will be a calm, comfortable retreat where couples and their closest guests can slow down, settle in and enjoy being together.
Launching in early 2026, The Lodge blends classic country character with a fresh, modern feel - with space to cook, eat, gather and unwind, as well as beautifully designed bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep. It’s being created to feel easy, welcoming and quietly special, a natural extension of the Cissbury wedding experience.

A luxury stay at The Lodge
Sleeps up to 6 guests
With two beautifully designed bedrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room, The Lodge is ideal for couples, family and close friends to stay together on the estate. With free private parking.
Light-filled kitchen and dining space
A new, airy kitchen and dining area with windows on three sides creates a relaxed place to cook, eat and gather, with seating for up to six people.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
The main bedroom features a super king bed that can be split into twins if needed, while the second offers a king-size bed with its own en-suite. A family bathroom with bath and overhead shower completes the space.
Comfortable living areas
A cosy sitting room with sofa bed, TV and WiFi throughout plus a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer, makes The Lodge practical as well as welcoming.
Outdoor seating with views
Step outside to a private seating area with views towards Cissbury Ring - perfect for morning coffee or a quiet moment after the celebrations.
The look and feel of The Lodge
The Lodge is being designed as a modern country retreat - warm, characterful and full of colour and texture. Inspired by classic English patterns, deep greens and soft, layered lighting, the interiors will feel rich and welcoming.
Velvet sofas, beautiful fabrics and playful details will sit alongside natural wood and light-filled spaces, creating rooms that feel relaxed and thoughtfully put together. It’s a place to curl up with a coffee in the morning, share a glass of wine in the afternoon, and wind down after a full day of celebration.
